Products Terms and Conditions
We will charge interest at 3% above the prime interest rate on invoices which are not paid on time.
Any terms you have agreed with our management will be strictly applied.
Failure to settle any invoice on time will render the full balance owing to us immediately due and payable notwithstanding any other terms agreed with you.
We will remain the owner of any goods you have bought from us until you have paid us the full purchase price.
We will not pay for labor charges relating to goods you return to us, expenses resulting from any defect in the goods or any damages you suffer as a result.
We are not obliged to accept return of goods after a period of 7 days from date of invoice. Any goods correctly supplied will not be returned. All returns will incur a 15% handling charge.
Warranty claims can only be considered if parts supplied and used have been installed by a qualified technician and/or by a technician and/or workshop recognized by Star Motor Spares.
We will not be liable for harm or damages caused by any unsafe product characteristic, defect or hazard where the harm is wholly attributable to compliance with any public regulation or where the unsafe product characteristic, defect or hazard did not exist in the goods at the time we supplied the goods to you or anyone else, or wholly attributable to our compliance with instructions from our supplier.
We will not be liable for harm or damages caused where it would be unreasonable to expect us to have discovered any unsafe product, characteristic, failure, defect or hazard in the light of our role in the supply chain. In this regard please note that we are unable to check each product we sell and we are not experts in the manufacture, technical performance or safety requirements for each of these products.
Limitations of liability
